I’ve decided to create this Discord community. This is a chance for me to explore what I can do with this type of group, so we’ll run this as a 6-month test to see how things go.
About the Community
This isn’t the best place for general woodworking questions, as we’re a small group. Therefore, please don’t feel pressured to post or keep things lively.
This is mainly my personal woodworking journal to share what I’m working on.
- I’ll share photos, updates, and progress on my projects and other woodworking-related activities.
- If you have questions about my specific projects, I’m happy to answer them with pictures. It’s much easier than in YouTube comments.
- I can also help with questions about Japanese woodworking tools and where to find them.
Feel free to stop by and say hello whenever you’re curious about what I’m up to.
How to Join
This Discord community will be available only to those who have kindly given, or will give, a donation to me at least once, either in the past or any time before the end of February 2026. I will do my best to contact everyone who has donated before, but if you have not heard from me and you did donate, please contact me at [ info@yrti.net ].
Since this community is based on goodwill, there is no need to make a monthly or ongoing donation. A one-time donation is enough. (That does not mean you should not give more, haha.) There is also no minimum amount required.

Rules
As long as you are nice to people, everything will be fine. But if you are not, no matter how much you donated, I will have to kick your ass (pretty hard), so please do not make me do it. My leg will hurt too.

Hey, I have never run this type of community before, and I am not really a leader type of person. So I’m not sure how well I can organize everything. Because of that, I always appreciate your help to keep things running smoothly.
Please also understand that if things do not go well, I may have to close this community before the end of the test run period.
